The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences today announced the nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards 2011 event. Event

on Sunday, September 18, 2011 and aired by FOX television at 8 pm local
time.
HBO dominates Emmy nominations this year with a total of 105 nominations. CBS followed with 50 nominations, 46 nominations NBC, Fox 42 nominations and ABC with 40. Mildred Pierce which aired on HBO won the most nominations for the title of a TV movie with 21 nominations, followed by 'Mad Men' (19), 'Boardwalk Empire' (18) and the 'Modern Family' (17).
